Meet The Founders

Imatha (Mae) Wright, along with her siblings, Sara Bass, Eleanor “Jewel” Jackson, Estella “Cissy” Strong and Gerry “Boosie” Samples founded the C&M Strong Christian Ministries  and Outreach.  Imatha Wright also served as the  Executive Director of the C & M Strong Christian Ministries for over 40 years.  She lives to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, his love, his plans and purpose for his people everywhere that righteousness may prevail from generation to generation.  She believes in the unity and oneness of the body of Christ.  

 

Imatha Wright is known as “Aunt Mae” to all who loves her, whether they are directly related or not.  “Aunt Mae” became a name of endearment to all.  Imatha loves people and loves to evangelize sinners and strengthen Christian families through biblical teachings, training, mentoring and intercessory prayers.  Her goal is to lift up Jesus in everything she does that He may draw others unto Himself.  She takes his promises seriously and desires that others would learn to do so also.  

 

Imatha considers herself a servant-leader in this Ministry.  Although she received many rewards, accolades and recognition from her church, Concord Missionary Baptist Church and community, the C&M Strong Christian Ministries and Marriage Is A Ministry, she would rather have the award of God’s love and God’s delight in her, expressing the words,  “Well Done, My Faithful Servant”.  

 

To know “Aunt Mae” is to know a Titus 2:3-5 woman whose love and passion for people extends  her dedication to Christian wives and dysfunctional marriages to be made whole.  Her passion for prayer, provides her with power and strength to line up in God’s will for her life and this Ministry.
